The statuses on the ad-ops screens act as a quick snapshot of the current state of the campaign or contract.
Each campaign or contract on an ad-ops screen is issued with a status. They can be any one of the following. Should you click on the status column heading of the table on an ad-ops screen, this is the order they will be presented in:

The contract has been stopped and won't be delivering ads anymore (in which case you will need to create another contract if you want the campaign to deliver further ads) |

The contract has been paused and is not delivering ads (in which case you can republish the contract to have the campaign deliver ads again) |
