When using the API /publisher/user/search you’re likely to receive a timeout when calling the endpoint with a higher limit, due to the size of data being returned (incl. custom fields).
In this case, we recommend using the user report endpoint available at publisher/export/create/userExport. It’s possible to actually export a total result and there is no need to set a limit.
