How to set/reset my password?

Reset Password procedure

To set/reset your password, go to the login page > Fill in your email address > and hit Forgot password?

In the following minutes of your request click on the new activation link sent by e-mail to set your password.

Please note that the password activation link has a lifetime of 24h to avoid potential intrusions to your account. If the link has expired before you could set up the password, simply follow the same process again.

Rules for the password:

  • 12 characters min ; no max

  • Special characters (!@#$%^&*)

  • Lower case (a-z), upper case (A-Z) and numbers (0-9)

  • Passwords found in known public data breaches will no longer be accepted - you'll be prompted to reset it at your next login.

The user account is locked after 10 unsuccessful attempts. The email address and IP address combination are taken into account.

What if your account is suspended

If you can authenticate (your password is accepted) but you cannot reach the Piano Analytics interface, your account may be suspended. A suspended account blocks access regardless of password status — resetting your password will not restore access on its own.

To resolve a suspension:

  1. Contact your organization's Piano Analytics administrator.

  2. Ask them to open your user record in the Access Management application and reactivate the account.

  3. Once reactivated, sign in normally — no password reset is required unless you've also forgotten it.

If you don't know who your administrator is, contact Piano Support; Support can identify the administrators in your organization, but cannot reactivate the account on their behalf.
