Creation Editing and Deletion

Creating

Creation of objects in the Cxense Advertising is generally handled in two ways.

  1. via the Action menu

  2. via Create links (located on top rhs of tabulated lists.)

There are additional creation interactions specific to certain other tasks (eg. Creative and Matching Templates, User Creation). Action menu creation links are always given priority over other links.

Editing

Editing of objects within the UI is generally handled in two ways

  1. via Action Menu

  2. via edit links (screwdriver and spanner icon)

Editing of some objects is sometimes restricted based on the objects life cycle. For instance, Users cannot edit CPM targeting information whilst that campaign is live.

Deleting

Deletion of objects within the UI is handled in two ways

  1. via Action Menu

  2. via delete links (screwdriver and spanner icon)

Deletion of any object or setting in the system presents a prompt to the user to ensure they understand the consequence of the action.
