For the title of the View in browser page or preview text in the email, ESP uses a preheader.
If this field is empty in the template settings, ESP attempts to take it from the summary of the article of the first dynamic block, if the template does not have dynamic blocks ESP uses a default text for this field:

For static campaigns, it is better to set the preheader via the settings for the campaign. To find the preheader field, please navigate to the section Template and Style → Global → Preheader text:
