How does the library search engine work?

Currently, the search engine of the Library works as follows:

  • The fuzzy search is used.

  • It's necessary to enter at least 2 non-special characters.

  • The search will return all the resources that match, with a tolerance of one character of difference.

  • The search is done in both the title and the description of the resource.

  • The search terms are additive. For example, if I search for A B I will get all resources that contain either A or B or both.

  • The results are sorted in alphabetical order.

  • Special characters are not taken into account in the search.

The more resources you have, the more results the search will return. To get the best out of the search engine, we recommend that you try to search with a few terms, trying to find unique terms from one resource to another.
