Product Types

Cxense Advertising supports four main advertising product types:

Whilst these four main types cover almost all of the digital advertising landscape, Cxense Advertising provides the ability to customize Ad Products in innovative new ways.

CPC Product

In a Cost Per Click (CPC) product model the system manages an auction of advertisement collateral and selects ads based on variables such as a bid price and matching criteria of features such as keywords or categories. A well established CPC product/advertising model is a 'CPC Keyword model', however the CPC product model can be applied to any arbitrary set of matching/targeting criteria.

CPC Products are often referred to as Performance Advertising, as the Advertiser pays for the click performance of the Campaign and it's Ads. CPC Products require Matching criteria with the ability to set bids on those criteria, such as Keywords or Categories.

Product Manager may customize the floor price of bids within the Matching Templates as required.

General CPC Set Up

CPC Products usually do not have setup or ongoing costs, as the cost for advertising is usually the Advertising price itself, however Cxense Advertising allows the ability to set these additional costs as required.

CPA Product

The Cost Per Action (CPA) product model is similar to the Cost Per Click (CPC) product model, except that costs can be assigned to any user action.  Currently CPA reporting of actions and retrieving of statistics is limited to CxAd: Conversion Tracking

CPM Product

A CPM Product allows an advertiser to purchase impressions for a set period of time. Forecasting is used to estimate the number of impressions (in units of 1000) available for the spaces associated with that product, and an advertiser can buy up to that total number available (usually in units of 1000).

General CPM Set Up

CPM Advertising Products charge Advertisers by setting a Unit price for 1000 impressions, and can also incorporate setup and/or ongoing costs. Contracts Purchased against CPM Products are paid for in full before commencement of the Campaign.

Tenancy Product

Tenancy is the concept of an advertiser buying a position for a set period of time for his campaign. A particular position may be shared with x number of advertisers, which is determined by the broker.

General Tenancy Set Up

Tenancy Advertising Products charge Advertisers by setting a Unit price for a specific period of time, and can also incorporate setup and/or ongoing costs. Contracts Purchased against Tenancy Products are paid for in full before commencement of the Campaign.
