All Piano data types are portable and available through a variety of methods, yet no two Piano clients are the same in terms of the data they need, in which systems, and in what formats.
Piano's sales and client services teams engage with clients to determine what data a client wants to ingest – whether that be page view logs, transaction logs, individual subscriber entitlement data, real-time subscription status changes, etc. – and the appropriate schedule and destination for that data. Whether you are hitting one of Piano's APIs, listening to webhooks from Piano in real-time, or receiving scheduled dumps of data into a secure repository, we ensure that you are receiving the data you need to form a 360-degree view of your customers in your environment of choice.
For example, you can use our endpoint /publisher/export/create/accessReportExport to generate a report that lists accesses across all of your users. The report will then appear in your Download center, where you will be able to download it. Please visit this page to get a comprehensive list of log reports you can generate using the API along with their syntax and parameters.
Additionally, you can listen to the webhooks that Piano fires to get instantaneous updates for new activity in your application. You can then store the data in a location and format of your choosing.
Finally, Piano's UI allows you to manually generate an export of data via the Reports dropdown. Please view our documentation on these reports to learn more.
