There is no deprecation date for Classic Templates at this time.
We are not pushing for an end-of-life of Classic Templates. We understand that migrating from Classic to Lightweight templates requires time and resources on your side, and we will allow as much time as needed for the transition. Classic Templates will remain fully supported well beyond the end of the current calendar year (2026).
When the time does come to phase out Classic Templates, we will not switch them off without warning. You will receive heads-up communication well in advance — on the order of months, not weeks — so your teams can plan and execute the migration on a comfortable timeline.
The exact deprecation timeline will depend on Lightweight Templates feature adoption. We will share more specific dates once we have a clearer picture, and always with sufficient lead time.
