We have a revenue schedule for a paid subscription (for example, Mar 10–Apr 10) that is immutable; revenue is recognized only across that period. Less is recognized only when a refund is issued.
If a subscription enters a grace period (Apr 10–May 5) after a renewal payment failure, no payment occurs, so no revenue is recognized and no amount is taken back.
