Code Change Deployment Schedule

Deploying code changes is a crucial part of software development that can bring significant benefits and improvements to a product or service. However, it also carries risks that can cause issues and errors if not managed properly. To mitigate these risks, it is important to have a well-defined deployment schedule and a testing process in place.

Therefore, Piano has a rigorous deployment schedule for code changes and the possibility of triggering automated testing to avoid potential issues. Various products have different release cycles, and some deploy in different regions at different times, making it difficult to give an exact time window. However, we avoid deploying code changes on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and instead are releasing them during low-traffic hours Monday through Thursday. This reduces the likelihood of significant disruptions and enables the team to address any issues before they become widespread.

The following page contains the Release notes for different products from the Piano Product suite. The release notes detail the changes and updates made to the platform on a monthly basis, including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and new functionality. The page is intended for current users of the Piano platform who want to stay informed about the latest updates and improvements to the software.

By subscribing to the Piano Status page, you can receive notifications about any upcoming maintenance or service disruptions, allowing you to plan accordingly and minimize any potential impact on your business. This is an easy and proactive way to stay informed and ensure that you have the latest information about any changes to the platform.
